Recent developments
- In July 2005 QFleet entered into an agreement to work closely with a leading Queensland based road safety research body
- In February 2006 we appointed a Fleet Safety Manager, dedicated to assisting clients to achieve best practice in fleet safety management
- In March 2006, Allianz agreed to provide assistance to QFleet to enhance our service to clients focusing on fleet safety (including access to its technical expertise and financial support for fleet risk management).
What services are included?
Current developments under the safety program provide an opportunity to better align transport requirements to service needs.
We provide tailored advice on:
- driver management including induction and fatigue management programs
- driver selection and development (including driver training and education programs)
- fleet safety polices and procedures
- vehicle fit for purpose considerations
- driver risk assessment
- facilitating a proactive safety culture in your organisation.
We also conduct management seminars on fleet safety and related topics.
Why are we providing safety services to clients?
QFleet’s safety services aim to:
- reduce crashes
- reduce injuries and fatalities to employees and members of the public (including other drivers, riders and pedestrians)
- ensure that the Queensland Government meets its Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) legal requirements.
